Bizhub C654: Where to set defaults for scanning

I would like to change defaults for scanning, as they appear at the bottom of the screen after pressing scan/fax.

The controls are
1 or 2 pages
resolution
color
filetype
page format

I would like to change some of them - such as the 300 dpi resolution - permanently to other default values. Where is the menu to do this?

Second, when I change these settings, is there a option to define how long these changes stay active before being reset to default?

Where would this be changed?

Utility > Utility settings > Scan settings > Setting default: Current setting
