USB Panel Bizhub C258 dead?

Hi, I have a bizhub C258 with firmware updated to version 4.2


I reset the machine to factory data and afterwards I rehabilitated the HDD also doing logical formatting.


But now something strange happened. The panel USB port no longer works. I have tried several USB but without success.

When trying to connect a key with a bright LED, the key switches on for 2 seconds and then goes off. So the power arrives. The side USB ports (where there is the ethernet port etc.) instead work.

Going to Admin> User Box> External Memory I put everything on ON.

What may have happened?

make sure the HDD is set to installed, also make sure the usb cable from the front is plugged into the specific front usb port on the MFP board on the right.

I saw and broke the USB cable (the one under the ethernet port). I do not know how, but they did it.

USB cable can be replaced with new one but if the port is broken you can plug usb cable in other ports. It will work.
