AU-102 with bizhub C258

Hello,

We're trying to install a biometric authentication unit [AU-102] to a bizhub C258, but when we install the loadabe driver we get the error code C-C212. We tried this to install this driver on different machines and everytime we get the same code. The firmware we use is GC3-S1 [functionversion 4.1].

Anyone tried to install this yet?

Procedure

• When this trouble code is generated after installing the loadable device driver, check to see if there is any file other than loadable device driver in USB memory used. If there is any file, reinstall the loadable device driver.
• Check the USB cable for proper connection. Reconnect the USB cable as necessary.
• Turn OFF the main power switch, wait for 10 sec. or more, and turn ON the main power switch.
• Re-register the user authentication information.
• Replace authentication device.

Hey rrrohan,

I already checked the service manual for the error code , the loadable driver and the fingerprintreader should be correct. In the meantime we managed to get it to work on a bizhub C454 but still not on a bizhub C258

Found it!

I used the wrong loadable driver [G00-01], should be G00-02.
