C3851FS does not see that it as a PF-P13 attached to it. Copier on recognizes the first paper feed cassette built on to it. Connector between main body and PF-P13 does wiggle a little but it connected.

Usually those connectors are a bit loose to enable the connection to register & self center. I know on the larger machines you have to go into service mode to enable extra accessories. The smaller machines I'm not sure of. Maybe check the administrative settings or go into Pagescope to see if the tray is being recognized. I know for paper size on these drawers you have to specify paper size & type in the administrative settings.

Make sure you have the new style pfu. The 3350 PF-P13 will not work on the 3351. I think you have to change some Dip switches too.

no dip switchs to change but you do need proper tray. no need to set size either. there is a bulletim on which tray to use. A4Y6-WY2 this is the proper tray

the 3350 etc will need firmware and dip sw change
