| is the IP addy the same as the previous copier? if so, there is a good chance that somebody is still trying to print to the old Toshiba printer and using that driver. then the copier is seeing garbage and locking up. you can also try to drop the network speed to a 100mpbs full duplex, or 10mbps full duplex depending on the settings of the customers network speeds. that will take the auto negotiations out of the picture. when the copier drops off the network, hook up to it with a laptop and a cross over cable and see if you can ping it still with your laptop without turning it off and on. If you can still ping it, then its something on there network thats locked up, not the copier. |
