And proofs

After 100-105k copies i replaced the drum. For the first time. This drum didn't make more then 8k copies without developing that black on one side. I thought drum whit fault.

Then i ordered another drum. This one didn't take more then 5 k! and same thing developed.

Its a black color and it looks like frayed toner but cant remove it by whipping. I tried whit water and 10% comes off. Alcohol react bad whit km drum but it removes 30% and thats it

I didn't replace developer and machine was cleaned at the first drum i replaced

Charge corona?Developer? Any thoughts?

It's the transfer roller. At both ends of it, you will see a white plastic that should keep the roller at distance from the drum look at the damaged end to see. Change it or somehow repair it once I did it with a lighter

P.S. As I can see from this pic http://picasaweb.google.com/dado.cop...30099922334050
It's a good idea to change the "distance" roll on both ends of mag. roller

You will need to replace the complete developer unit and load new developer. The unit has a failure of its seals on the end with the drum wear. It is not worth trying to fit new mylars etc.

Its always a good idea to replace the drum and developer at same time on this model for PM purposes. and dont forget the filter... at least vacumm the filter off if you dont replace it.

Dont forget also, when vaccing out the DV unit to carefully remove the metal plate that sits above the mag roller and get ALL the old DV out before dumping in the new stuff

And we can continue . Drum isn't problem any more

I changed an developer and what did i get after F8....c 2557 atdc faliure.

Km representativ says that's what happen when u change an DV and drum in different intervals. But what he dont know that machine fried little resistor on DV connector(UN2) or atleast i think it is

When i make a copy, it jams right after top of page passed the fuzing section and show c2557. Did try to do F8 3 times more but no help.

Sm guides me to change an UN2 and since i cant get it before 14 days i tried to replace smal resistor whit simmilar resistor (Oms and voltage). Machine warm up for 3-4 minutes and shoot out an c2431 "can not blow fuze".

Dont get me wrong am trying to get it online even whit this metod since i have Bizhub 500 right next to it whit blown toner suply motor!(one that turn the toner bottle and cant get it under the 14 days ) on 680K and am lozing my hair so is the costumer....o my god help me on this one......

You need to replace drum and developer at the same time and run an F8 ...

If you have already tried F8 a few times you have probably cooked your DV ... but, go into tech rep, try resetting both the drum and DV counts and run F8 one more time and see what you get.

You need to reset counts, turn machine off completely, turn back on - go into tech rep and run the F8 ... might be able to get away with it. If you need to replace a drum or DV, and dont feel the need to replace in pairs -- just never reset the count, or never run the F8 on the DV

if you vacuumed out the developer unit you may have toasted the ATDC sensor in the developer unit. on this model its very sensative. if you want to check, if you have another 350 you can swap drum and developer and test it. but you have to manually adjust the TCR levels in the tech mode. so look at the TCR level in old machine before putting it into the new machine.
