Details Subject:
C-255A (C255A), C-255B (C255B), C-2559 (C2559) or C-255C (C255C) at power up.
Description:
C-255x code at power up.
Solution:
CAUSE: The K (black) IU (C-255C) has failed. The M (Magenta) IU (C-255A), Y (Yellow) IU (C-255B) or C (Cyan) IU (C-2559) is not fully seated or has failed.
SOLUTION: Replace the K (black) IU (Item #A0DE02F for the bizhub C203/C253 and Item #A0DE03F for the bizhub C353). Reseat the color IU and if the problem persists, replace it. Item # Color IU Model

Check the fill tube from the toner cartridge to the image unit. It may have become plugged with toner. Also if you have this code, shutting the machine of and on will not reset it. Power on the machine, wait till the code appears. Open the front door and close it. This should reset the code.
