    bizhub C3351 with strange noises (only in color-mode)

    Hello,

    a bizhub C3351 makes strange noises, only in color mode. In black and white mode, these sounds didn't occur.
    I habe already changed following components:

    Transfer belt, Fixing unit, Waste toner box and all 4 IU`s.
    What else could cause this noise??

    Total counter Shows About 10.000

    Could well be the drive unit.

    The drive motor reverses and engages different gears in the drive unit for colour and I have had problems with these units on C3350 (similar drive system) in the past.

    If you have to replace it, follow the procedure in the manual as there are a few steps you need to follow that are not immediately obvious.

    Check what happens to the toner cartridges, each has its own drive

    The problem is solved!
    TB Drive Frame Assy (PN A92ER70200) was not properly mounted in the factory!
    The positioning pins were not properly in their holes and this caused the assembly to warp.
    This was the reason for the noise.

    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
