    connection dropping bizhub c350

    Hi All,

I have a bizhub c350 and when I print from any computer on the network (windows or mac) it fails to print.
when I switch machine off and back on it prints and jobs that were in the queue.

That crusty old machine will not work on a gigabit network. Put a 10/100 ethernet switch between the copier and your network to slow down the network speed.

Thank flash (i think), crusty old machine indeed. hard to beat print quality and just chuggs away with some TLC.
I have a 10/100 switch in place and machine has been running on the same network set up without a problem for a few years.
The only issue we had was a message saying 'Black imaging unit needs changing soon' (or something like that). I had the same message for weeks and was expecting it to eventually quit altogether, but it didnt. However, this is when it started to reject any prints sent to machine.
I replace black IU. prints great but still dropping connection.
    Any ideas?

could be an ipconflict, try turning the machine off. and ping the address of the machine and see if you get a reply.

switch are backward compatible, sounds like maybe printing is using wsd port instead of ipaddress

Does it have a Fiery print controller or the standard contoller?
