    konica 7135 counter issue

    Hi,
we had some problems in a 7135 machine and we have now replaced a new parameter board. During this process the machine has lost its meter reading. Is there any way of inputing the correct reading which is available in the analog meter into the system. Currently the digital counter is showing 125 copies where as the machine has actual done 250000 plus copies. Thanks in advance

I'm afraid you can't, the digital reading was in the board you just replaced. On a newer models, the counter is in the NVRAM board, placed on the mainboard. But if you change the board, the nvram can be detached and placed on the new mainboard, so the machine keeps the correct counter. Try the same thing on your machine.

All your electronic counters are gone when the parameter board is replaced. However there is a mechanical counter when you open the right door to access the fuser and vertical paper path area. The counter is located above the upper hinge of the right door.
