Konica c35 yellow toner cartridge says empty when it's full

Installing installed a used Konica c35. Checked it out and it made find color copies. Sometime after we left the yellow cartridge says empty into replace even though it's full. Any idea what might cause this. I should cartridge and made sure the toner was loose and I pulled out the drum and check that everything seemed fine it just want to go see warm up cycle it pops up saying yellow toner cartridge empty at one point it said wrong cartridge but that are message disappeared

Did you try another toner?

Very common with those cheap little toners. The chips on the toners don't make good contact. I use one in my home office and every now and then I get a toner it don't like and have to go through what you describe.
