If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.

Hey desert, are you the admin for the Smarka offshoot tech site Smarpost? Wonder why that tech forum never took off, because of password? I was hoping it would work out because I loved smarka and at the time didn't use this site much. I tried posting several times and either never got one reply or maybe days later.
I registered here early and how I got "copyman" as user name but didn't start posting here until Smarka died.
Off topic:
Aahh, good old beloved smarka. This was the first techs forum I found and register so many years before.
So simple, yet great. I see many familiar user names at CTN, mine is also from smarka' days.
A tree is known by its fruit, a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost, he who sows courtesy, reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love.
Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.
I don't reply to private messages from end users.
There were drawbacks though:
Without passwords other members could post using your username, and write things that I found repugnant. That's when I stopped using Smarka. =^..^=

After I left the EKTA-Print world I started my own adventure.
And survived long enough to get started on the Japanese models. And had to get some resources, so
I also use to use smarka. I quite when all I got back were smart ass replies mocking my questions. But I did get some good advice
before it got hy jacked by the assholes.
I switched to Techsconnected under the name copydude. That was a great site. There was a server I could go and get svc manuals
when I needed them. Don't know why it went away. Hans may know he was also there. We brainstormed a bushing for an older
BH or Minolta model. It was a developer collar that wore out to often for my liking. I was also on copytech. Both boards have saved
my bacon more than a few times.
Thank you, to all the great techs that contribute to this knowledge base.
Together we have power.

copyman,
Almost forgot to answer your question.
No I was not the admin at smarka. I have enough trouble with computers.
DR
No not admin of smarka, there was a website called Smarpost that was an offshoot of smarka. It was around for a few years but now website won't load so probably the site was taken down for lack of support.
