    What did you do on the machine prior the code?
    Did you swap boards? We need more information to help you.

    1. Check if this error occurs because the original MFP board (MFPB) was replaced with one removed from another machine. If so, reinstall the original board, operate the MFP, and verify if the error returns.
    2. Perform Clear All Data.
    a. Call the Service Mode to the screen.
    b. Touch [System 1] -> [Initialization] -> [Clear All Data].
    c. Press the Start key.
    d. When[OK] is displayed, turn off the main power switch and turn it on again after waiting 10 seconds.
    Note: The trouble code “CD272: i-Option activated and additional memory and HDD not installed” is displayed after the main power switch is turned on.
    e. Call the Service Mode to the screen.
    f. Touch [System 2] -> [HDD] -> [Installed].
    g. Exit the Service Mode and then turn off the main power switch and turn it on again after waiting 10 seconds.
