Hi Forum,
The last few days my C450 is doing interresting printouts. Whenever I print a 4c document the first page gets an complete magenta background added (plus some magenta spots inside images), and the 2nd duplex page is 100% ok. That goes on for every following print. So half of my brochures are with magenta stripes (about 25% magenta, complete sheet but one can see stripes paralell to the drums, image transfer belt, etc. means "normal" to the moving direction of the paper.
It is really crazy as every 2nd page (the duplex sides) are 100% ok.
What I did so far:
Changed the toner cartridge (for the case the toner is "faulty" or the opening mechanism is broken or anything).
cleaned the magenta toner place, the outer side of the drum, the space around the LPH with vacuum cleaner.
cleaned the LPH with IPA
installed a new wasttoner bottle
changed the magenta drum to a well working one (tested)
cleaned the transfer belt with IPA
later installed a brand new transfer belt
had a look at the paper paths if there are foreign objects
checked if the image transfer roll (and everythign else inside the right door) look ok
changed the sending computer to see if there is perhaps some strange driver issue
but it stays always the same 1st side is 25 % magenta background, 2nd side is perfectly without issues.
Any ideas?
