BHC353 IU313 image units

I think I know the answer but I have to be sure.
My customer needs to have the color IU's replaced. I am looking at the OCE equivalent (CM3522 I think) IU's.
I believe all I would need to do is replace the chips?

yes I believe that is all needed. As you probably know but I'll post for others, the C203/253 and C353 IU's are different, you can interchange but may have to swap end cap or cut fins, etc. Most chips I see are interchangeable for all 3 models and all the other OEM equivalents. As these machines are getting older and no longer supported there's going to be a lot of swapping going on!

Thank you for that post. I hadn't thought about using the 203/253 drum units in the 353. Now that I know, I'm glad I did not buy
at the higher price. So I need to go shopping online again.
As an Indy, this will be very helpful.
