| Log on to the web interface using the password:-MagiMFP.
Click on the yellow network tab, then on the left hand side select Email.
Make sure 'send' in enabled, enter a sender name, enter an Email address ( this is what will appear in the inbox as the sender )., enter a default subject, enter the smtp server address. click apply and give it a go.
PS you may or may not have to enter authentication info most don't it depends on the system the customer is running.
