c450p paper tray 2

I get a 'Door open at paper tray 2' message in this new printer and thus it will not print.
Aside from trying to close it can I do anything else to overcome this before I call tech assistance?

Look in the back of the tray for a piece of paper stuffed behind it

well... the tech told me to check small cover over the bypass tray.
It was closed but not firmly closed on both sides and so this message.
What is really annoying is the poor and incorrect comunication from the printer's display. That was not the tray 2.
