Exclamation di520 Jams in fuser

Just fired up an old di520 gave "misfeed detected at o" (o being little dot), Opened indicated area (fuser drawer), cleaned out a bunch of garbage from in their and tried a test print. Paper made it all the way to the fuser and jammed there. Cleared jam, now it wont clear the error misfeed detected at o" (o being little dot on fuser) Tried to clean out again but to no avail... Any suggestions?

What location does the jam show in the jam counter? There is a sensor in the upper left door that can fail. Also, the exit guide can get hairline cracks in the fingers causing jams.

If the misfeed dot will not go away, then there is either something blocking the photocell in that location, or you have a bad photocell. Go into tech rep mode, to the I/O check, and you can use that screen to check your photocells. Just find the photocell in question and actuate it while watching the I/O check and you can see it switching on and off.

There is a trouble botton on the ram claer board. Open the door where the toner is. There is a small grey panel, remone and you will see the trouble botton push it, that should clear the error. It may come back.

The way to reset a misfeed or error code is to open and close the large front panel after the paper has been cleared. This switch is to reset fuser and exposure lamp codes, not misfeeds and regular error codes (and is not for end users).

No paper there

There is absolutly no paper anywhere in the machine (beside paper tray) opening and closing door does not clear error.

Sounds like it's time to call a technician.
