Fit Correct toners and IU's

Hello Everyone.

I have a couple of C253's that have come up with "please fit correct toners and all IU's" out of the blue.

the only way it seems to clear is to "re-chip" everything. does anyone know the cause of this???????????????

This is happening when you changed the units/toners between, for example, you switch the magenta with the yellow toner.

happens when you put the wrong IU chip on the machine...

If youve got the wrong color chip on the wrong IU, i.e. a cyan chip on the magenta iu you will get this code. The machine knows where the IU is supposed to be, so you need to put the right chip with the right IU.
