C252 M1 Operation Test

Can anyone tell me how I do the tests on the C252.

I have error code C5102: Main Motor’s failure to turn.

Amongst other things, it says to perform M1 Operation Check.

I have hunted through the manual and can’t find anything on how to actually perform a test.

Cheers

James

You don't have to test this ,replace M1 and your problem is gone.
For getting the machine to work you swap it with one for the colors but than you get the fault if you use color on that one we had so far 6 cases

I no find 47-mode type tests either for Konica C-series machines. Only running mode and sensor check.

Please post if find something. I looking same thing to test motors/clutches when troubleshooting these machines.

I wanted to be sure the motor was definitely faulty. Anyway, it turned out to be, we swapped it with the Colour Developing Motor (M3), which is identical, and then it failed. Was just hoping that there was a much simpler way to test it. The Ricoh machines allow you to run tests for virtually everything without removing a cover.

Thanks

Ok, got a new motor which sorted that problem. When putting the jigsaw back together, the copies and prints (also internal prints/test pages) are coming out blank. Have i missed something or done something wrong? There are no error codes.
Cheers

No image on the transfer belt, no error codes, no P codes either! All connectors seem to be in and it happens on k C Y M copies/prints.

I will check the drums this morning.

Thanks

If there are no P codes I would suspect a bad connection to the transfer roller unit.
