Are you installing it into a C351 or a C352? There are different mounting kits for each.

The C351 takes an MK703 and MK704 along with the FK502.

The C352 takes an MK706 with the FK502

    Thanks for the reply

I'm removing the hard ware from one C351 and installing it into another C351.
Would that be a lot of work?

Dont forget to swap the memory from the old machine to the new one, its the very bottom Dimm and it says fax on the board itself next to the slot. Set the option board to reflect that a fax is installed in system 2, initialize the fax which should be under the Fax tab in service mode and I do believe you have to set the fax target to U.S. and you will find this under system 1 and the marketing area tab. Should work at this point have fun!

    mitchl,

Does the same procedure apply to the BH350? I'm in the middle of removing a fax kit from a BH200 and installing it on a BH350. Thanks.

Yes you have to yank the memory and put it in the machine getting the fax....... The mem is on the MFBS board located on the right upper end of the machine (by the NIC connection) take the board out (3 screws) once the upper panel is removed and put the memory in slot CN5....... Don't forget to swap the battery to the new machine the (its right next to the main fax connector on the BCRS board) and then change the communication mode in ADMIN 1 from email to fax......... DONE!
