    DF601 indicates jam

    Hi guys,

I have a C250 with a DF601 on it. Everytime the machine is switched on or it comes on from sleep mode the DF indicates there is a jam. I simply open/shut any of the DF doors and the fault goes away. Feeding thru the DF works fine, no reg errors or anything.
I have tried to do the auto adjustment and reinitialize of the sensors, but they all show NG.
Am I looking at a main DF board fault, or is there firmware I can flash to it?

    Thanks

    Taminol

The turnover sensor is dirty or has failed. It is PC5-DF.

Theres the little mirror reflector patch right there - that usually gets dirty. Instruct the keyop to wipe it with a clean finger. Keeps you from coming out next time.

    Hi,

Thank you very much, just finished ! The sensor was good but the little mirror was dirty. Immediately after reassembling i've tried to reproduce the error, so after the KM logo i had the error before and not anymore after cleaning the mirror. It is now the same for sleep mode.
