    Exclamation C-D390, C-D38E bizhub C554

    Hi,

    Machine is showing error code C-D390. No board swapping or NVRAM resetting done. It was working fine. After recovering the data it asks for restart. Upon restarting it gives another code C-D38E. Taping the "Recover Data" on screen it goes in processing and takes a lot of time but no device restart message appears. Again after restarting C-D38E and sometimes C-D390 codes occur. Counter goes to zero sometime. It shows actual counter after restarting sometime. Service mode is accessible but device freezes in the middle often.

    * Initialized the machine
    *Removed the HDD, Disabled the HDD,
    *Formatted SSD
    *Performed Engine Data Backup
    * Firmware upgraded
    * Trouble Reset

    Any solution other than replacing the overall control board?

    Thanks!

    Battery pulled out from another working board will work? Its not just changing soldering desoldering.

    We have two machines with same error code problem. I checked the batteries in them in off state it was giving 0.8 Volt and 0.17 Volt.

    Error codes are fixed but now machine freezes after few seconds. Stabilizing Image, Ready to Scan. Preparing User Box sometimes on Scan/Fax and machine hangs. HDD Formatted. HDD DISABLED. Disabling the HDD gives error code C-D272. Removing the HDD gives error code C-FA14. Firmware updated but still the same. Start Button is blue. Machine starts normally and then after few seconds control panel freezes. No button works. Service mode is accessible of course for few seconds....
