    Toner chip resetting

Is there a chip resetting tool for the C250/252 bizhub toner cartridges.

I ask because I have several Imagistics CM2520 out in the field and while the toner units are different only in the front cover and pin, but the powder is the same. I was wanting to take the Imagistics front covers off w/chip and put them on the Minolta but the chip counts the life of the toner and I would need to reset that if it's possible.

    Any ideas. Thanks

The brick like resetter from the sites above doesn't work for C250/C252 series.

ZeusGT have you tried just changing the toner cover and putting the chip from the new toner on, Some of the KonicaMinolta and Imagistics toner chips are the same just the cartridges are keyed differently. And no the C250 IU programmer doesn't program chips to be toner chips at least I have not had any luck doing it.

No, I haven't tried to do that being that I thought that the Minolta wouldn't reconize the Imagistics chip. I do need to try that though.

That is pretty much what I did with the older models though.. I would just clip the extra tab or modify it so that it would work with the Minolta. I'll give that a try.

    Thanks
