c 451 firmware

I have a C451 with a IC409 Fiery controller. The problem is that the m/c does not want to scan. The first time I upgrade the firmware on the fiery and it was scanning 100%. The second time the same problem again. So I upgrade the firmware again and it was working again. Now it is a week later and the same problem starting again. What could be the problem that the fiery trough the firmware away.

A C451 with a Fiery, you do not need to program or set the Fiery for Email, it is done through the machine side (all email server information is set on the C451). When you're saying it doesn't email what error message are you getting when it doesn't work?

When you say 'Firmware on the Fiery', are you talking about the Fiery Update patches?

There are three sorts of updates that can be applied to a Fiery.

1. Windows Updates (from MS)
2. Fiery Updates (from Konica Minolta)
3. New version of Operating system for the Fiery.

If you reload a Fiery from scratch, then you will need to update the Fiery with the Windows and Fiery Updates.
