    Di250F ERROR="Original Left on Glass"

    Hello everyone

I am working on a DI250F. ERROR = "Original left on glass"

    Here is the scenario:
User was going to place original on glass changed her mind tried to use ADF then the error pops up. Only user was able to clear code was to turn off power.
Today I changed the size reset switch , readjusted the magnet in the cover, and cleaned all the size detection sensors.
I changed the reset switch because it is activated when the original size cover switch is turn on When the original size cover switch is deactivated. The magnet breaks the connection and the "reset switch" reset the size detection sensors.

The reason I explained all this is so :
So that we are all on the same page
If my understanding of the process is flawed. Someone will tell me
Maybe someone did not know the process but now they do

So here we go my first post. I am sure one can help
    Thanks in advance

    F7, perhaps

This is an old post. If this is still nagging you here is another thought.

Have you tried doing a original size calibration? I think it is the F7 function.

I agree with scott, try the F7. But also check to make sure that it is set for the correct country code. I had a EP 4050 with the same problem and it was set for japan. I changed it to min and it solved the problem.

I was looking at your post and I said to myself, Is this guy working on a copier on Easter Sunday? This tech is overly dedicated! But it was an old post.

Not a Minolta specialist, but I had a 450 that the whole adf was shifted due to a move of the box.
