    cf3102 c-3c50

has anyone come across a solution for this code c-3c50, machine throws this each time it is switched on..... a quick open and shut door part solves the problem as long you don't need to scan if you do then a power off and on will reset after 3 or 4 tries thanks

    Symptom:
After switching ON the main SW, C-3C50 appears on the display.
    Cause:
In case, environment where the machine is placed gets under 10 degree due to
winter season or any other reason, equivalent resistance of capacitor (C143 and
C147) situated on the PWB-C (4581-0103-02) gets bigger. It causes a trouble of
3.3V power line of the PWB-C, and then circle is affected leads to C-3C50.
    Countermeasure:
Add electrolysis capacitor (100 microfarad) to C143 in parallel. It corrects the 3.3V
power line of the PWB-C, and the trouble code won’t appear on the display.
Part Number of PWB-C won’t be changed. Keep current part number (4581-0103-
02). To identify the new one, see the C143 on the PWB-C. There is an electrolysis
capacitor added in parallel. From next shipment and onwards, spare parts delivery
    will be only new ones.
    Temporary workaround for the field:
    1. C-3C50 can be reset by switching OFF/ON the main SW. Characteristics of the
capacitor are improved by just turning ON electricity. Therefore unless the main
body gets extremely cold, the machine will be correctly rebooting.
    2. Field fix, add an electrolysis capacitor (100 microfarad) to C143 in parallel. It
should be done by skilled technician to prevent damaging PWB-C. The electrolysis
capacitor is available at any electricity shop because of it is general-purpose.
Note: Your local repair is under your responsibility.

    Good Luck
