c253 problematic low power/ sleep mode

hi guys and ladies i am experiencing a problem with a c253 when setup for disable sleep mode and machine to gointo low power...without switchinf off then the machine does not wakeup when user touch control panel or keys..pls note that the machine does not shut off and still stays on


pls help any ideas.

have seen this before on c351, turned out to be nvram.
