EP5000 repair

I am currently repairing a EP5000 and have an issue with startup. After clearing all trouble codes, I have a problem getting a sample coy for evaluation due to errors of Lower Left Door and Duplexer drawer open.
I have connected the unit and ensured the sensors are closed. I have also tried disconnected the PF5 and receive the same error.
I have a manual set but have failed to find rhe override to service the main unit.

Any references to manual pages or "tricks" to bypass the probem and test/repair the main unit would be most appreciated.

To Overide that, you must disconnect connector on lower left door (in rear)

I remotely recall there was something with the waste toner box not sitting right when this happens.

Why shoving a cigarette butt into the photointerrupter didn't work I'll never know.
