Bizhub 350 paper tray

We have a bizhub 350 that one of the adjustable paper trays will not stay closed enough to hit all the sensors and switches. You can hold it in on the left side and it will work. I moved the tray from #1 position to #2 and the problem went with the tray. Can anyone assist me with this problem. Thanks, roger

Check for bent or improperly mounted cassette rails.

If I'm not mistaken (I may be thinking of the Di3510), this may be a known issue that involves a part on the body of the machine that clasps that arrow-looking part on the cassette (you can see the arrow-looking part in the pic posted above). Basically, the original part does not provide proper tension and allows the cassette to pop loose just enough to cause a "drawer open" message or misfeeds. Replacing it resolves the issue. You may be able to "modify" the existing piece if you cannot find the needed part.

The tray holders OBX tech is referring to are usually the culprit. At least this is definitely the easiest place to start and if the old style holders are on there, then you need to install the new style tray holders.
If the tray holders are white, they are the old style. If they are black, then you should have the new style, the new style tray holder also has a wire ring on the underside of it to add more pressure to hold the tray closed.
The part number for the tray 1&2 holders is 4040620500 and it is called a holder. The holders for the paper feed banks are different and the part # is 4348620500.
The stop ring that goes with the holders is part #4348620600.

If looking straight at the tray, on the front right hand side, where the front of the tray joins the rest of the tray it will probably be cracked there?!?
