    c6500 developer

    yellow develper for c6500 has a no. A04P700 What is the difference between this and dev with no A04P760. is this suitable for c6500 or does it fit later machine.?

    For what later machine is this developer?
    The 6500 is followed in market by C6501 that works with the same drums/developers and the new machines 65HC.
    The 65hc works with different toners/developers, until now noone I know tried to use the developer from 65HC to 6500 series, I don't believe you will get any positive results, if this is the case.

    Im not sure what machine the A04P760 is intended for and that was the question. Normally use A04P700 in our c6500 but were supplied A04P760 in its place, was just wondering if it is compatable and just a progression in part numbers ?

    According to TAUS0901583EN00 through the SSD the toner, starter and developer and drum units are interchangeable. The black dev unit is NOT interchangeable with the colour units, but is cross machine compatible.
