Lasernex rubberised paper

Hi guys haqve anyony had this paper on color machines -photo copiers does it work or is this paper meant for other printing method...pls help

Is it supported? That answer is no.

Will it work? Maybe. The manufacturer says it is laser copier compatible. Doesn't really mean it will work in all models. Depends on the fusing temperature. The worst that can happen is it jams in the fuser by wrapping around it. You may have to set the machine for the thickest paper setting to get the toner to pull onto the paper evenly.

We have a couple customers who use a silk type plastic paper that could be considered rubber. Its meant to make labels on things that can get wet. We've had mixed results, jams in the exit section because too much heat made the plastic shrink slightly relative to the paper backing and it curls up.

Hi Pal,

Factory recommendation is NO. But we have this customer using this rubberise paper and working fine. Important factor to consider is lower the temperature if its going for production - long run in one go.

Second point to note is this print size taking example image is 92mm x 50mm, the print result would be either bigger or smaller due to fuser unit etc. causing the rubberise paper to react.
