Bizhub C350 blurring black prints?

Wow, I am having a bad week!

The problem is that as each large black printout run progresses the copies degrade worse and worse. The text gets blurry, almost looking like it is dragging?

I have cleaned the transfer belt, cleaned the led under the black IU, replaced the black IU, recalibrated, redone the gradiation, cleaned the optics. Still no luck - weirdly internal prints seem to be fine so I am curious about the optical area

any ideas?

This copier scans once copies many. What paper are you using? you could make sure that stabilizer runs more often. Watch your transfer voltage. Is it only on black? Couple of things.

Check the waste toner box fella, could be the toner's not getting transported away and building up in the IU.
What about the erase leds as well, maybe they need a wee clean ?

that is interesting, I noticed that there was toner running out of the waste toner area so I emptied it and cleaned up the loose toner and the images seemed to clear up after that! what a fantastically weird thing to happen.
