    Minolta Di3510 Adobe printing

I have one customer when printing adobe files the file seem to take a very long time to load onto the copier before printing.
    All other printing seems ok
Is there some setting on the copier that expediates these kinds of files

They are not large files they emailed them to me and i printed them on my own small copier fairly quick

    Thanks

Does your customer have the Postscript kit installed on the copier? If so, are they using the PCL or PS driver?

If they are using the PCL driver, then the print data has to be converted from PS to PCL in the print spool before the data is then sent to the copier. Doing this can make some small files rather big and could explain why it is taking some time for the document to get to the printer.
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.

Have them go to properties of the print driver and select PRINT AS IMAGE.
Different algorithm and won't search for a PS font.
It will print text as a picture.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

Select the document properties when they print the document.

    My mistake.
