Ive tried just about everything...aside from replacing the print heads. Any suggestions before I get manufacturer support?

P-14 means there is a skew problem. My experience is that it mostly deals with the black IU. 1st pull out the black IU and reseat it. But before locking the black IU hold it in place with your hand then lock it. Sometimes it doesn't sit right. The other alternative is if it doesn't work try replacing the black IU.

PS - as a precaution reseat all IU's

    Hope this helps!

Thanks 8050. I replaced the black I/U already and have reseated all I/U's as well. I looked on Minolta's SSD site for the P14. Nothing there except what you said...replace the I/U.

There is a special firmware from KM for this problem. PRCB is the only part that has to be flashed with this special firmware (GC1-22).

had this issue a few weeks ago, tried I/U replacement, no help, installed special f/w, no help. Test mode charts showed black leading in one direction, lagging in other direction. Wound up replacing the PH to resolve this. I am assuming the poster ment 451C. EMujo

Don't waste your money and time on replacing the ph units. Follow this procedure step by step and I guarantee you the P-14 will go away, I've done this on atleast 30 machines and have had success with each one.

    1. Do "Skew Adjustment Reset" then run "Initialize+Image Stabilization"
    2. Turn off copier.
    3. Apply firmware GC1-22 for the Printer control. MFP firmware must be at atleast R5.
4 Do "Skew Adjustment Reset" then run "Initialize+Image Stabilization" again.
    5. Turn off and on the copier.
    6. Run Gradation for all three modes and then run Stabilizer again.

This has been a fix for me 100% of the time with P-14 codes.

For reference look at TAD # TAUS0703835EN08 in the KM Knowledgebase.

this issue could be firmware depending on the firmware you have at the moment also could be transfer belt check with KM before wasting money.
