    Question konica 7040 J33

    copy is completly exited but shows that error code
    replaced fusing unit- the same
    any ideas?

    Exit rollers have no drive. Idler shaft/B (p/n 55GA48140) which holds the reversing drive
    gear/A (p/n 55GA77340) becomes loose and drops away from the motor gear (p/n 55GA77340).

    you might want to check the black inversion assembly attached to the top of the door and make sure that isn't broken. also check the operation of the motor that drives the exit gears. rb

    Haven't worked on one for a while but I seem to remember that the exit sensor actuator can stick in the up position causing a phantom jam. When the side door is opened to look for the paper, the actuator drops back into its normal position allowing the code to clear. It used to happen on older machines when the door support frames got a bit bent out of shape.
