konica minolta CF3102 C-0046 error code

I went out this morning to see about this machines error code of C-3C50 and was able to clear it. Then it started making a nise as if the fan was making a rattle. Then a error code of C-0046 came up. I tried to clear it several times and finally it cleared when I moved the machine a little. But now it just says, NOW WARMING UP. And it will not come to ready. However, it will print test prints from the sevice mode. Please help!!!

Description: C-0046

CAUSE: A failed PU2.
Note : M24 fan may still come on even though PU2 has failed.

SOLUTION: Replace PU2 (p/n 65FA-9290).

If you're not a Konica Minolta dealer, then I would suggest Hytec dealer services (Circuit Board Repair by Hytec Dealer Services, Inc.). I just ran the part number, and they have them available to ship.

I'm glad that I didn't buy PU2. I went out this morning and thought I would give it one more try. So I shorted the 2 pins of PJ2 to do a initialize procedure, unplugged and plugged back in. And all is OK now. Hope this helps someone else. This one had me pulling my hair out. Thanks anyway.
