The waste toner bottle on the C550 is a front mount unit with 5 ports in it, one for each colour and one for the belt cleaning unit. These are fool proof now and pretty easy for most users to figure out. Open the front main door, two spring tabs to hold it in place. Pop the tabs and it comes out. The bottle will go in at an angle without much fuss or damage to the recycling section.

the 8031 is the same design found on the CF3101/3102 and C350/C351 and C450 machines.

    Hello all,
I also have the same problem with my C550, and hope that it wil work on my machine, just one question, how this band can be placed inside the paper margin because I think that it is the registration bar printed automatically by the machine to check the registration so it should be outside the printable area

Hm. Same issue with a C451... Turned out to be the Transfer belt unit. Replaced it -- problem gone.

I think we had this issue here

If it does this kind of noise than it is definitely the drive motor for the cleaning brush.
