    Unhappy Konica 7020, IP-421, KN-303 assistance

    Hello KM'ers

I am a Canon dude who has a freebie Konica in my garage that I have been toying with. I had the tcp/ip set up, and mistakenly did a restore to factory setup on the print server. I don't know how to get to the KN-303 to manually restore my IP so I can get into the browser based interface of the print controller. The setup manual for the KN-303 would have this info, but I do not have one.

I hope someone on this side of the fence can lend me a hand...

Try to use the ARP command from a DOS command line:

    arp -s ip_address mac_address

and then wait some minutes untill the machine prints the network configuration page.

    Thanks for the reply!!

It already prints out the config page on startup,

I tried arp -s 192.168.0.175 00-40-af-6d-18-70 from a dos window, and it did not "take".
My laptop is set to 192.168.0.100 255.255.255.0...

what I need is a way to change the ip address from "Not Configured" / 255.0.0.0 to 192.168.0.175 / 255.255.255.0

I was able to locate the KN-303 instruction manual, and it listed your method as one of the ways to
configure the cards IP address. It also mentioned the Management Access Program as a method.
Would any of you be willing to share that software with me?

    Smile Network issue resolved!

Thanks go out to barratec & pepper38_cnd..

I was finally able to resolve the networking issue, using the arp command. I was missing a step in the instruction manual that told me to ping the address after using the arp command. Never gonna hit that factory reset button again!!

    thanks again
