Yep, or one of your colors is not laying down on the transfer belt correctly. Print out some test patterns in tech mode, do about 90~100 on the density setting. Do it for each color and see which is not laying down properly. Then goto that color and correct it. I usually find it's a dev unit with some blockage to the mag roller. Getting a business card and cleaning it out does wonders.

Sometimes it's soooo far off you have to go into tech mode and run the color reg adjustment from there as it's more forgiving in tech mode and usually will adjust from there.

If the machine has been caned you get that toner buildup around the Colour Registration assy. Definitely a dirty sensor I always advise my Techs to vac the grey wiper pads during a PM


If the colour registration is soooo far off... that would just throw a SC45-20


I could fix that fault in a dark room... I have done it so many times.
