I never got that, so I only know what comes in the service manual. If you don't have it, here's what it states:

C5008 - ADU drive serial input abnormality
The serial data is not received from the ADU drive board (ADUDB) with ID=0 within a specified period of time after ACK when the power switch (SW2) is ON.

As per the manual, you should replace the ADU drive board ADUDB.

It does suck indeed. Go for Firefox, Chrome or Opera - any one of these is better than IE.

I changed the adu board with another one and I am still getting the same error code. Maybe I should change the whole duplex unit?

I doubt it. It seems like you've got some wiring problem - maybe a pinched or broken wire or a bad connector. I'd check every connector on the ADU board first for bent pins or broken wires and then, if you don't find anything, also on the other boards.

Good luck - that one looks like it's going to be a blast!

    Re: C 5008 Bizhub 750

I know this is an old post but... hopefully it will help someone.
We had a 601 doing this. We ended up reseating all connections on the main board and it fixed our problem. I would try that first and then maybe replace wiring harness 2nd.
