KM C451 niosey and two lines in feed direction

I Have a C451 which is producing a loud noise and there are two bands running throught the copy/print top one is greenish and bottom one id magenterish even on black copy/print.

I thought it must be a transfer belt prob so repalced it but still exactly same prob - HELP

As its very noisey Im thinking it may be laser unit but that exspensive to replace on a hunch. It still copys/prints but looks very grainy/washed out.

I HAVE ATTACHED SCAN OF A COPY FROM THE MANUAL

If it sounds like a router going through plastic then check the transfer belt cleaning unit drive gear (machine side not on the unit). I have just replaced my 3rd set of these. There is an updated gear, bracket, shaft and spacer to improve the reliability of this unit.
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

We are also a DEVELOP dealer. You can get a pretty good idea of how to get to the gears from the theory of operation manual.

    Good luck.
