The handwritten comments on the pages suggests you have just serviced the machine, is this correct?

It is a must that you clean the dust proof glass for each laser. Also, the 200k service replacement list does not suggest you fit new charge assemblies.
We change the charge assemblies on each service as the charge grids do not seem to be as good as they should be. And the charge assemblies are pretty cheap.

We always make sure that we take out and thoroughly clean the colour registration assembly, and vac out all of the ducts etc as best we can to try and keep the workings as dust free as possible.

What direction are those samples coming out of the machine?

At a guess I reckon that its the grids, I NEVER clean the grids because you will end up with prints like above. I wouldn't even touch the grids or change them.

I just replace the whole charge units not worth the hassle.

Your absolutley right HORSE, the charge coronas are mentioned for replacement at 100K in the theory of operation manual.
But oddly there is no mention of them in the maintenance section of the field service manual.

    Konica Minolta Bizhub Pro C5500/C6500/C5501/C6501/
    Charging Coronas
    Unit Replacement Period

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

More precisely, the duration of Charging Coronas, is determined by the time of use,
    Ex : / 70 Hours />
    (Time estimated by KM).

Charging Coronas /PM 100K/ both the Bizhub Pro C6500/C6501, the Bizhub Pro C5500/C5501 this period is lower / 75K/.
Is a period estimated relative to a Monthly Prints Volume.

The right thing, would be for you to control the Percentage being of Use when you get to /100%/, Units must be Replace.
