Has anyone seen this error before? Stapler can not be used correctly
I checked everything and it looks fine. Is there something we must clear in service mode to re-activate stapler? I have the manuals.

There is a software switch you need to reset, cant remember which though. We had a 751 which would run for varying amounts of time before this was displayed.
We almost changed every part before we finally got a response from support that ther was a new version of firmware to combat this.
It's a F*****G office copier and you expect Litho Quality?!!!! The salesman is a complete PR***.
It's probably isolated, you need to release it in tech rep mode as it won't self release.
How do I "release" it in tech rep mode. I went through all I could see and did not see that. I did trouble reset also. Is there indeed a dip switch that needs to be changed?

Its under system 2 if i remember correctly there will be a option called "trouble isolation" either that or system 1.
When you go in there there will be an option to set or unset a function to disable or enable it
That or it's a softswitch (i'd have to look in the manual) they are usually 18- something.... I think 18-1 is drawer 1 and 18-2 is drawer 2 and so on.
Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.
