Bizhub C451, C225B error code
Hi all.
Need help please. C451 with C225B error. The error indicates that the black drum motor has failed. We replaced the main drive unit but the error is still popping up.
Any idea why this error isn't going away?
Regards

Hi,
The error code C225B is referring to the motor that drives the k pc drum. its either not turning / turning abnormally. I would change the motor, if not then you problem is with the printer control board

I had a C650 giving the same code every morning, and it turned out to be the main power supply.

There is another thread about this eror code, they says that th problem could be the DCPU (power supply) I will check it and inform you about the issue

Hi all, I have changed the DCPU and the problem has gone.

Re: Bizhub C451, C225B error code
I have found that most of the time when this error is displayed, the spring loaded flap on the top front side of the K imaging unit is not there,or not pushing the K toner channel open that is above it.
Although this backup can sometimes ruin the K unit drive on the inside back wall of the machine.

Re: Bizhub C451, C225B error code
Hi All
I've found also that changing the DCPU (power supply) cured the problem. As well as throwing up the C-225B error before hand the copier also didn't recognize the finisher when the error appeared. Changing the DCPU cured both.
