How is the aftermarket KM toner compared to the KM OEM Toner for color Bizhub C550 Machines ?

There are about 500 different jerkoffs selling aftermarket toner in a cartridge that will fit into your Bizhub. The quality ranges from complete shit in a box to very good but none of them are as good as the OEM stuff. Some are very close and will work great but it is a crap shoot, sometimes you can get a little extra margin with some aftermarket toner but sometimes you can loose you ass.

Only use OEM for this range of machines, there is nothing out there that comes close enough to the copy quality and more importantly reliability as of yet.

When it comes to aftermarket toner the Dollar you save today will probably cost you two or three tomorrow. As a Tech it's a nightmare as every quality issue you face your always thinking it's the aftermarket toner, and don't even think about calling tech support if your not using OEM.

We use Katun toner in our entire fleet of over 2200 deployed machines and do not have any issues.

and we used 1 set of katun toners and burned OACB board on almost new product C352.... U can put dam coal in B/W machine but in color....no supstitution for OEM
