Angry Konica Minolta C6500 Wrinkle problem

Anyone been having problems with a bizhub c6500 wrinkle issue? I'm printing 12x18 duplex on 80lb dull coated text and i got nothing but severe wrinkling on my outputs......BTW, Konica Minolta copiers are nothing but garbage.

anything to fix this issue? i swear i think the techs are clueless sometimes.

What media type setting are you using? Are you feeding the paper from the drawers or from the bypass tray? Are you sure the paper you're using is within specifications? And when I say specifications I mean what is written in the manual stating what type/weight of paper can be fed from which specific paper source, not what the salesman said the machine would run.
But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard... to be the Shepherd.

    Lol! Nice first post, Mikcia.
    Had days like that myself.

    Deep breath...
    Woosaa...

    I'd check those media settings.
First, we need to know the gm2. 80# Text? Index?
Next, where does the wrinkling begin? Post-fuser? Pre-fuser?

6500's a decent box when it's dialed in.
Got one in the morning, in fact. I'll check CTN for your response while I'm in front of it...

If it's 80# text, lie to the machine & set it @ 20# plain.
    Works for me every time.
I support 12 of these on my own (no tech support for 3 years) & have very few problems.

Way to go. You do realize that you're insulting the same individuals that you are asking advice of.

I would start by trying some different media. Coated paper stock is a nightmare with most any MFP. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
