Oddly, it copies but wont print, always get "cannot communicate with specified host."

Also, it keeps jumping out of print back to copy. Not sure why, a little stumped. Its a konica minolta 8050. Any ideas?

does the copier even have a print controler in it or attached to it?

It is firey driven, so that is the print controller. IT all worked fine but then one day, it began saying that it cannot communicate with specified host on my computer. The odd thing is this jumping out of print when I push the control button back to copy, it stays on print showing the print screen for like 3 seconds, than it jumps back to copy. I asked two other techs, and both have not seen this. We tried on another 8050 and it didn't matter when we unpluged the ethernet, we were able to stay on the print screen.
