    ep 6000 afr-13

i have a ep6000 with an afr13 and the afr 13 will not hold doc stop position. i replaced afr13 belt (thought it might be slipping), checked bearings on belt frame, reseated connections on pwb-a board, checked sensors in service mode--ok. Doc stop was at 50 can adjust and sometimes it will move, but it doesn't stay set very long, you can move setting up and down and sometimes it will move others it will not, i just kept playing with settings and it will eventually get where i want it, but like i said it will not stay. i'm leaning toward a new pwb-a board, but not sure.

Do you guys have a parts cat for the finisher? I need stapler unit part number to see if I can find one. I need a stapler unit and a fuser drive motor.

stapler unit for st1000-4477-6051-02----fuser motor ep6000--9314-2310-54--im actually working on 6001, fuser motor same for both. if you have different finisher let me know, may have parts manual, not sure just threw away 50 gallon trash can full of minolta manuals last week. i'm not sure if part numbers have changed or not , but should be a good starting point. i will ask you a question, i went to work on the 6001 and now it starts copying and paper stops at registration roller just before drum, doesn't show jam or anything, says copying, i let it stay like that for 5 min. and then have to turn off machine, and keeps doing the same thing. didn't know if you might of ran into this before.

    thanks for the number

On other machines that can occur of something is wrong with scanning like a LAMP. When copier goes to light up or move and finds an error it stops. Since its right at the drum I would look at exposure process. Based on Canon experience.
