Brand NEW KM bizhub c280 color copy make blue or red lines,


Print quality is good, b&w copy is good. When i make a color copy the machine makes blue lines or red lines. This is a brand new c280.Scan to PC is ok, print its ok only copy. Lines are vertical.

Seems to me something goe´s wrong on the installation. Installate the machine complete new, and very important step by step to the installation-manual! Fellow of me forgoten one step and had exactly the same results!

No, only turn the machine out & then on again. Then the whole procedure again, then there were no more problems.

Read instalation manual. At the end it says to make a color copy and what steps you need to repeat if copy is not OK (if you get cyan & magenta lines).

There are a couple steps that usually get missed. You must do the gradation adjust, and you must do the install date. Do the gradation adjust exactly as it states in the install instructions. If you don't do both copy and print you will get lines.
